Jeff got a lot done today by himself. He set a record on the window installation project, finishing up the twin from 2 days ago, including insulating it, and getting another window completely installed and insulated. It's almost a shame there are only 2 left!

We had quite a crew today. Our friends Lee, Sandy and Allison, and Dave and Diane were all out to help with various projects. Lee and Sandy came up for a week with their camper. Lee installed some of the radiant tubing insulation, while Sandy, Dave, Diane and Jillena focused their efforts on defuzzing. Jeff got right to cutting the rough opening for the second-to-last window.

Today began work on the last window. It seems like an eternity that we were putting in the first one in the basement wall. That was 22 windows ago! This last window is a twin that will provide more light to the future open area over the living room. Bob also came out to begin work on framing in our root cellar.

Another milestone was reached in a project covering many months. The last window was installed today! That's 23 windows total. We will not be at a loss for natural light in any part of the house. Dave was also back today cleaning more logs. At the end of the day, Jeff started on a new project: finishing the interior gable walls.
