With everyone else working on the ceiling, Bob stayed in the basement and finished paneling the main wall of our utility room. This wall will hold all of the radiant heat mechanicals.
Tonight we loaded up for another trip to the mill tomorrow. We'll be getting the last of the window casing material, and some additional framing lumber and siding cut.

Today began work on the last window. It seems like an eternity that we were putting in the first one in the basement wall. That was 22 windows ago! This last window is a twin that will provide more light to the future open area over the living room. Bob also came out to begin work on framing in our root cellar.
The first of four ceiling fans we ordered arrived yesterday, so Jeff was eager to try his hand at installing it. After a few hours, he had it hung and wired. We won't be able to test it until we get the power run up from the basement. Bob was out for most of the day as well, removing our temporary cleats in the stairwell and finishing up the framing for the root cellar.
