Because of how the log heights on this wall line up with the adjacent walls, this window's header will not be cut into a log. It falls between the cap log and the one below it. This saved a lot of time, not having to plane down a cut in a header log.

Jeff was able to get the sill log cut and the casing completely shimmed and bolted tonight.
