With the sill log cut pretty much down to where the door frame needs to sit, Jeff began on the header log. Of all the header logs he's had to cut for the windows and doors, this is the last one! Mike and Billie Jo joined us for part of the day and worked on stuffing insulation in the west wall.

Jeff resized the front door opening a little more because the frame was fitting a little too tightly. It's still snug, but it might just work. He also painted the caulking along the edge of the soffit paneling he put up two days ago and installed drip caps to most of the windows on the back wall.
