Jeff, Bob and John moved a log pile from behind the house, and another pile of scrap from the front yard. This made more room for John to work on the many piles of dirt that have been delivered recently. Jeff and Bob also prepped a few beams for the mill and Jillena was back at work on the inside walls.

5-22-11

We've had a lot of fill delivered since the weather has warmed up, but everything has been very wet. Today we started breaking up the piles to get them to dry out faster. Jillena was inside cleaning more logs after our last chinking day.

Now that things have dried up enough, John was able to run the bulldozer for a while today and level many of our fill plies. In the evening, Jeff rough-installed a few light fixture boxes to get a visual of where we might want to hang lights.

Jillena decided to take down a dead tree in our hedgerow after working on the chink-prepping for a while. Jeff was busy with electrical work, swapping out some of the boxes in the log wall for deeper ones.

Stephen helped Jillena in our garden today and Jeff ran the wiring for our internet service.
