Some of the twin windows project too far beyond the edge of the sill log and therefore have insufficient support under the center frame column. As shown in the picture, the center column has dropped, giving the window sill (and the frame header) a sag in the middle. Mike came up with the idea pictured. Three wooden corbels lag-screwed into the wall. Shims between the corbel and the sill will hopefully fix the problem over time. We also had drip caps going up, Bob working on the rear wall, and interior insulating going on as well.

With Ted, Bob, and Mike working on the back wall, Jeff installed more corbel supports and drip caps. Later in the evening, he started on the insulation that needs to go around the upper 2 feet of the basement walls.
