2-8-11 Jeff started putting up the interior gable clapboard siding tonight. He got all the tools up onto the scaffold deck and got most of the first row put up. no additional pics for today |

2-9-11 Row 2 finished tonight. Jeff also had to remove the crown moulding end piece from the north end of the east wall (just visible behind the right-most pole in the pic). This crown moulding piece needed to be scribed to fit tightly against the siding profile where it met the east wall. no additional pics for today |

Jeff got into a groove and put up a few rows of siding today. Earlier, he and Jillena talked "electrical layout" with Bob, who marked all the 1st floor outlets and conduit runs. no additional pics for today |

Jeff is now half-way up the north gable wall with the 1/2" siding, and Jillena is working her way across the upper scaffold level with insulation and lath. no additional pics for today |

Jeff is approaching the peak with the siding on the north wall. Bob has started to calculate and mark the 2nd floor beam locations on the girders. Earlier today, the timber inspector came out to inspect our 2nd floor beams. no additional pics for today |

2-18-11 The gable siding is finished on the north wall, with the exception of the scribed pieces that will fit around the ridge pole. no additional pics for today |

With the north gable wall finished, the single scaffold tower was broken down and moved to the south end of the house, where Jeff picked up where he left off last Spring. But before moving the scaffolding, Jeff finished assembling the fan closest to the north wall. Bob was busy laying out the 2nd floor beam locations and labeling the height adjustments for each one on the south girder. Jillena worked on prepping more of the upper section of the west wall. |

Jeff wrapped up another project today: the interior gable siding! This was the last of the triple section scaffolding work inside. Everything else will be done no higher than the second level. Jillena continued prepping the west wall for chinking. |
