Our friend, Mike, came out today and helped us put up the rough-textured paneling and vent strip under the east roof overhang. To reach beyond the overdangles, Jeff put Jillena up in the excavator bucket.

On this 4th of July holiday Monday, Jeff continued working on the doors while Jillena got a jump on painting some of the full panels for the rest of the roof overhangs.

Jillena was downstairs staining our doors and painting another T-111 panel for the roof overhangs. Tom drove out again today to help Jeff gain a little more ground on the first exterior door opening.

A day late on this pic, but yesterday while Tom was out, he got up on the scaffolding and spray foamed the open joint at the top of the roof overhang paneling. The real work for today was finishing up the door opening.

Painting has begun on the east roof overhang paneling. We also spotted a few deer (bucks and doe) in the rear corner lot lying in the hay.

Tom, one of our LHBA friends, came out to help us install some panels under the west roof overhang today.

Tom came back today and brought his wife, Erin. Having an extra person made handling the panels much easier.

We've got the overhang paneling almost complete on the west side. Just one more piece to carry out to the end, along with one more vent strip.

Tom, Erin, and Jeff put up the rest of the paneling under the west roof overhang, which included taking down, trimming, and resinstalling the last full panel. Bob was busy in the basement installing our staircase. Jillena finished staining the west wall with the base coat, and our plumbers made significant progress on the plumbing of the manifolds. We also had surprise visitors late in the day who stopped by to see the project and take a tour.

Jillena was up in the air, once again, painting the overhang paneling and staining overdangles. Tom joined us for part of the day to stuff insulation in the west wall. In the evening, Jeff reorganized the PEX domestic lines on the manifolds.
