We had to trim off some of the bell shape on the butt end so the saw carriage could clear it.

Taking off another 3/4" slab to cut batten strips out of. We took off a few 3/4" boards with the crown edging on each side as we worked our way down to a square beam.

The beam is about half cut up and the boards are stacked on the tractor forks.
