Since Jillena is done with the window sections of our doors, Jeff stole a set of her saw horses to use for the long 13" boards.

A split that was in the trunk of the tree these boards came had some soft wood inside where bugs had been living. In the heated basement, these cracks opened right up and traveled down the boards until it met solid wood again. We only stained the usable portions of these boards, which still over 10 feet. The longest board we'll need under the ridge pole is about 9 feet.
