Then she rolled the ceiling. |
The ceiling took only one coat of paint - no primer - and turned out better than we expected. |

Next, it was on to the walls, which we planned for two coats of primer and one coat of paint. |
In the bedroom, Jeff hung the last piece of drywall on the east-west wall. This section had four holes to cut out: smoke/CO detector, thermostat control, light switch, and outlet. |

Jeff also picked up some scrap angle iron for making guides for the bottoms of the pocket doors. Each guide is about 10" long, with adhesive weatherstripping added to the vertical leg for padding in the door slot. |
