Jeff spent his time on the top joint, as the most difficult one to access. Nobody else volunteered. 8-) Tom chose to work directly under Jeff, which was perfect for catching mortar slag on the head that fell from above. |

Continuing with what worked well on the east wall, we used only gloved hands to press the mortar into place and a damp sponge to touch it up a few hours later. |
