Looking up the hill along the west side of the house, you can see one of the footer tubes in the foreground and another in the background.		For the deck along the back of the house, above the basement entrance, log supports will sit on rebar pins atop concrete risers along the outer edge of the patio. First, Jeff drilled down through the 2" slab into the frost wall beneath, then drove in a long pin. This will stick up through the riser and into the log support.
