It was a little chilly today, so we fired up Paul's propane heater. |
|
Since we were nearing the back wall with our layout, and in trying to keep the heat in, we moved the spool inside. |
Paul and Bob working on the layout in the "bedroom" area. |

After all of the loops were run to and from the temporary wall, the floor in the Utility Room area looked like a giant creepy bug from a horror movie. |
These two loops in the "bedroom" area, along with a smaller loop in the "bathroom" area make up one zone. If we ever finish the basement, the heat for the bedrooms will also control the heat to the bathroom. |

When it came to the double piers, some runs could go right between them while others had to go around. |
Bob's nice cleanup job of the patio. We just need to grade it to get it ready for concrete in a couple of weeks. |
|
Paul and Jeff labeled each send and return line on the temporary wall, so we would know exactly how to connect the manifolds when the time comes. |
The last thing to do was to cap one end of each of the 9 loops. This simply required a brass plug... |
|
...and a crimp ring. We're now ready for pressure-testing tomorrow. |
