Stephen watching the bucket of the excavator while Jeff cleans out the area of the drain line. |

After getting down into the pit and working in mud and water, Jeff was able to insert two shorter sections of PVC pipe and a "T" joint. |
A view from the opposite direction. Backfilling behind the pipe. |
|
Looking down the ditch at some of the stone we dumped in, along with the roll of drain tile pipe that will connect to the "T" joint and carry the water down the ditch and out the side of the driveway. |
Looking back up the ditch from the outlet. The pipe is now completely covered with stone. For the stone, we tapped into the pile that came out of the basement. |
|
Next, it was on to building a rolling scaffold tower for pressure-washing the outside of the house. We took two sections down from inside the house and built a tower on a hay wagon. We also assembled our own decking from planks and leftover OSB. |
Our finished product, strapped to the wagon. |
|
We hadn't seen our feathered neighbors in a while. Today, a hen wandered by with quite a few little ones right behind our rear hedgerow. |
Jeff pulls up to the house to fill the 300-gallon water tank loaded on the wagon beneath the scaffolding. |

A beautiful pink sunset to end the day. |
