With the afternoon already starting out quite breezy, we thought it prudent to strap the towers to the RPSLs.
A couple of wraps around the pole and frame, and then tightening the ratchet down was more than sufficient.

We've got the sill seal laid out and nailed to the cap log, but you can see the wind has already started to lift some of the sill seal right off the nail heads. We had to work fast getting the sill boards set on top for weight.
Paul anchors the first board to the cap log.

The wind was much worse than this picture lets on. The sill seal was lifting in the only spot we didn't have a board yet, because it was the last one and needed to be cut to fit.
With two tall towers erected, we had enough framing and accessories to build one single-section tower. This short scaffold became useful as a staging platform for tools, which we could reach easier from our hanging scaffolding we've been working off of.
