Our rear patio crock. This goes down about 4 feet to footer depth. If a lot of water collects under our patio slab, we'll be able to pump it out quickly and easily.

Looking down on all the piles of fill that have been delivered this week. The excavator is out of commission for a few days for minor repairs.
 
With the rain we've had lately, the area around the house was very slippery for the trucks so they dumped alongside the driveway instead.
     
 
The turkeys were out in large numbers this morning again.
 
Before drilling and pinning the west end of the south log, Jeff rigged up two straps - one connected to a log below on the same wall to pull the log down and one connected across to the 2nd floor girder to pull it in.
