Although not completely flooded, we did have a significant amount of water in the lower areas of the floor. The pump ran all afternoon which took the water level down enough inside the house to expose the entire floor again.

Some snow still remained on the basement floor after the warm day yesterday...

...but we added more to it by shoveling off the remaining snow on the first floor.

The first thing we had to do up on the wall was cut off the flare at the butt end. Next we plumbed the inside face and began pinning.

Matt was up on the wall again, while Jeff cut pins. We got half of this log pinned and the opposite end pulled out a little with a cable come-along. Hopefully our third log will be straighter. We're running out of good straight logs.

A look at our current status: 17 courses high with 2 logs on course 18 set. There's Matt way up in the back corner.
