Small pieces of vinyl tubing were placed to protect the rebar from the chemicals in the pressure-treated sill plate. This was just an inexpensive extra measure that probably could have been skipped.

Tomorrow's the big day. The holes are drilled, the rebar pins have been cut to length, and the vinyl tubing pieces placed. We're ready to go!
