John picks up a load of pea stone which we used to cover the drain tile pipe. We had a lot leftover after the patio pit was filled. |

Paul holds the pipe down in a shallow trench as John covers it with stone. |
Jeff spent a lot of time shoveling. We didn't get plastic down before the snow fell so we wanted to remove as much as possible before covering the entire interior with the heavy black plastic. Since it was getting late, we cleaned off the insulation panels against the walls, covered them with fluffled hay, then covered everything with the plastic. We also laid hay and plastic around the exterior as well - all to protect those footers! We determined it was more trouble to pour the floor now, than wait until Spring. |

John and Paul finish laying the drain tile pipe and covering with stone. The daylight wall can't be done, but outside the patio can. We'll work on that later. |
Since we bought more than enough driveway fabric, we cut strips off the roll and laid them on top of the drain tile pipe and stone. This is so any fine silt or mud that may filter down to the pipe can't get into it. |

We then dumped more stone on top of the fabric to hold it down. |
