Well into the winter season, we're sort of taking it easy, since the next major project is the wrap-around porch, which we really can't start until spring. Through the winter, we'll be working mainly on the windows, finishing the jamb extensions and trim. Today, Jeff added a few more jamb extensions.

Today, Jeff added the jamb extensions to some of the 2nd floor windows, including the two bathroom windows.

Jeff finished off the extensions on the kitchen window today, and patched the hole in the drywall where the stairwell switch will go. The jamb extensions are now done. Next will be the smaller trim pieces to cover up the lag bolt heads in the bucks.

On to the next project: installing the trim pieces that will cover up the bolt heads in the side bucks. The first window Jeff decided to finish off was the one in the kitchen. With nothing stained, it was interesting to see the contrast in color between the window and buck material, and the newly installed jamb extensions and trim.
