Jillena installs the new dead bolt strike plate in the "dummy door". You can see where we plugged the old dead bolt hole we won't be using.

The dead bolt and handle/latch are installed and working.

Now to chisel the area for the latch strike plate. The original one was not deep enough.

In making the door stops, we decided to route the outer edge, just like we did on the drip caps. We made these out of the packing boards the windows came in.

A look at part of the installed door stops. We still need to add weatherstripping, but at least the doors are hung and are functional.
