To bed the pipe, Jeff picks up topsoil from the west side of the house. This topsoil was part of the free deliveries we've been getting. We'll replace this with more mixed material and top it off with topsoil later.
We laid plastic wraps that originally came with our steel roof over the pipe and stone before sprinkling the topsoil on top.

The pipe got about 2 feet of topsoil cover...

Paul hopped on the dozer to help Jeff fill in the ditch.

Jillena took the reciprocating saw to the form boards in the sump pit. They needed to be cut down below floor level to allow the inside drain tile pipe to connect to the sump pipe.   With a little "encouragement" from the hammer, the piece comes off.

Jeff had taken another scoop of stone out of the rear patio area to use in covering the driveway pipe. It didn't take long for Stephen to find his way down into the shallow pit.
