Using a 650lb.-rated single pulley chained to the lowest pass log below the lifting pole rigging, we passed the lead line through this pulley which gave us a more horizontal pulling angle. Most of the stress on the pass log is transferred through the adjacent butt log which is securely pinned in place. |
