Jillena is just approaching her 9th month and, although she tires easily nowadays, she wanted to help in some way. Stoking the brush pile was a huge help.

Paul worked at cutting up more trees around the pond. He left many logs long so we could stack them and cut them later for firewood.

John carries a bundle of logs with the forklift.

We piled the logs in our back hedgerow for storage.

Later in the afternoon, Paul went back to working in the ditch.

That's a 42" corrugated smooth-bore plastic pipe. When completed, there will be at least another 6" of stone cover over the pipe.

John and Paul set another concrete slab for a wing wall.

Paul backfills around a slab while it is braced with another piece of concrete.

John maneuvers the slab with the forklift and chain.
